Waldo’s Chicken and Beer

I walked in and immediately felt the feel of southern comfort! The food was out of this world! The staff was amazing and made sure that I was all taken care of, and they were timely on everything! Will return in the future! Thank you so much for the amazing lunch!

Our sons have been telling us about this place for awhile, my husband and I decided to try it tonight. We got it to go, then changed our minds as we were waiting for our order. Brian brought us our food, and asked if we wanted more sauces. We told him it was our first time here, and he brought us multiple sauces and talked us into trying the cheddar biscuits as well. The atmosphere and music played was nice, the place was clean, and the staff was extremely nice. The food was amazing. We had the tenders meal. It came with fries, coleslaw and toasted bread. All were delicious. The little butter biscuits were slightly sweet, and the butter took it to the top. I loved the fried pickles, and we had the tea to drink, loved that too. It turned out to be a big meal, and we were very satisfied. We will definitely be back to try more, and will tell everyone that will listen, how delightful this restaurant is!! 5 stars. Waldos is an amazing place to eat! The waiters and waitresses are always amazing and kind as-well as the atmosphere. Not only that it is my favorite food to get the free bird club is sooo delicious Definitely recommend!

I have a couple of problems with this restaurant that I need to mention first. There are only two in Colorado and the closest one is more than 10 miles away. The restaurant is always clean and vibrant. The employees have always been helpful and courteous. They are open Sundays and have a much better chicken than others. The tenders are juicy and hot. The breading is delicious. It is not overcooked and is fresh unlike a lot of other places. If you have not had the opportunity to stop by, don't wait much longer.

The food is really good here from the chicken tenders to the potato wedges and coleslaw, and the prices are reasonable. They have ranch and a number of other dipping sauces, but so nice to see a tasty ranch served with chicken tenders again! The staff is very helpful and polite and they really do what they can to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Will return and would recommend!

The best fried chicken in Colorado. So juicy and tender with a lot of flavor and not overly salty. We loved the sides too. The mac n cheese, coleslaw, and onion rings are fantastic. Large portions too. Their cheddar biscuits are fluffy. Our only disappointment was not getting a basket of them. They have a nice selection of sauces too. We ate inside and it was clean with interesting items to look at.

Waldo's is my favorite place to enjoy great food and amazing drinks. The staff is absolutely the best! From the bartenders (Daelyn, Val and Hunter I'm always very well taken care of. Very much enjoyed the atmosphere ,service and food. The staff wven though were young were very courteous and welcoming. It was refreshing to see a young crew care and take their jobs seriously and genuinely be happy to be there. I was going to order a chicken sandwi h but decided to go with the recommendation 1/4 black meat which was a drumstick and thigh i believe. For sides added collard greens, mac and cheese and the cheddar biscuit basket in the appetizers. Had sone sweet tea. The chicken looked great somewhat reminded me of another chicken chain From the Phillipines. I would have liked the chicken had bit more seasoning , dont get me wrong it was cooked well, crispy skin ,not soaking in oil the chicken juicy and tender not underdone either. I did add a little salt on the last piece just tobsee if thatvwas missing. Perhpas it did somewhat but maybe 4.5 on the chicken. Wish the sauce was tad bit more spicier kess sweet luckily its served on the side bekieve it was the habanero oil chili. The collard greens have been the best in a restaurant only second to home cooked by someone from the south. The cheddar biscuits basket and margerine were addictive, plan was to bring some home but ate every piece of them. The mac and cheese was adult mac and cheese , not overly cheesy but flavor that was well balanced and complimented the meal. Even the sweet tea tasted fresh without it beinv overly sweat. Landon was very courteous and friendly in providing explaining the process from start to end he was checking on tables. Wish more restaurants provided this level of service. Thanks!
